Meet Mariel Longos

I'm Mariel, and I've been surfing for 9 years. I'm based in Pacifico, in the north of Siargao. I surf and teach surfing, and I also play pickleball and hit the gym or do home workouts when I can. My week is pretty simple: wake up early for a sunrise surf, cook breakfast for everyone in the house, eat, surf, sleep, repeat. The moment I'm proudest of is joining nationals for the first time and being crowned champion. And honestly, my everyday progress.

I don't rush things. I believe that if it's meant to be, it will happen.
Bad conditions don't bother me. I have a lot of patience, and I'm happy with party waves.
I like to have an electrolyte drink before I get going.
